Before Lighting

Find the Perfect Spot: Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, children, pets and flammable materials.

Trim the Wick: For an optimal burn, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (6mm) before each use. This helps ensure a clean, smoke-free burn, minimizing soot and extending the candle's life.

Lighting Your Candle

First Burn: Ensure you burn the candle for at least 3 hours, until the wax pool reaches the edges of the container to prevent tunnelling, this will ensure you get the most out of your candle.

Light It Up: Use a long match or lighter to carefully light the wick. As always allow the candle to burn until the wax pool reaches the edges of the container, to prevent tunnelling.

Enjoy the Aroma: Sit back and enjoy the natural, aromatic benefits of the essential oils as they gently fill your space, creating a calming and inviting atmosphere.

During Use

Safe Burning: Never leave your candle burning unattended. Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time to ensure the longevity of the candle and maintain safety.

Maximize Scent Throw: Keep the room gently ventilated to spread the fragrance while avoiding strong drafts that could cause uneven burning or reduce scent throw.

After Use

Extinguish the Candle: Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame to avoid hot wax splatter. Avoid using water to extinguish the candle as it can cause hot wax splatter and the glass to break.

Cool Down: Let the candle cool completely before handling or moving it. Once cool, you replace the lid to keep dust out and preserve the candles fragrance.

Candle Care and Storage

Wax Pool Clean: Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and debris at all times.

Storage: Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve it's fragrance and appearance.

Returns & Refunds

What should I do if I want to return an item?

Sorry to hear you've changed your mind on your purchase from Laya, email us at info@layawellbeing.com with your order number and what unopened items you'd like to return, within 14 days of receipt. We cannot accept returns on products that have been opened.

We shall then provide you with the returns address and you can return the products back to us for a refund. As we are a small business we do not currently cover shipping returns cost, we advise you send through a tracked service to ensure your return arrives safely.
